２００８年度に診療報酬の不正請求などで、健康保険法に基づく指定を取り消された医療機関や薬局は計３３施設、登録取り消し処分を受けた医師や薬剤師らは４１人に上ることが２５日、厚生労働省のまとめで分かった。
厚労省によると、不正請求があった施設から返還を求めた総額は、前年より約１８億９千万円減り約３６億６千万円だった。
指定を取り消された医療機関の内訳は、病院・診療所１４、歯科１７、薬局２で前年度より１９施設減少。登録を取り消されたのは医師１３人、歯科医２６人、薬剤師２人で、前年度より２０人減った。
不正が発覚した経緯は、患者や医療機関の職員などからの通報が２２件で、取り消し件数の３分の２を占めた。
返還請求額が最も多額だったのは、金沢市の医療法人社団越野病院で約２億９３００万円。看護師の数や勤務実態について虚偽の届け出をし、診療報酬を不正請求していたとして、０８年１１月に保険医療機関の指定を取り消された。
